As a resident of Florida, you know that living near the coast can bring some dangers, especially when it comes to hurricanes. Therefore, it is important to know what precautions to take in order to protect your family when a storm comes. According to The Orlando Sentinel, the hurricane season is still going strong.
Jeff Masters, chief meteorologist of Weather Underground says that although some may think the storm season is over, it is in fact, not. In his blog, he puts the chance of a storm forming in November at 70%. However, the good news is the models also indicate the system would develop northeast of the Lesser Antilles, far from land.
